Mobileye's prospects are weak despite a near-floor valuation, because it is entering the robotaxi race late and has not even hired a new CEO. Piper Sandler upgraded it to Overweight with a $12 target, citing the floor valuation and its move to deploy its own humanoids and robotaxis after CEO Amnon Shashua's sudden resignation. x.com 

Mobileye has massive reversal potential after a first quarter that was materially better than feared. Revenue rose 27.4% to $558 million, EyeQ revenue 28.9% to $535 million and systems shipped 27.1% to 10.8 million, on significant post-earnings volume. Guidance was modestly raised, it authorized up to $250 million of buybacks it clearly has the cash for, robotaxi optionality remains alive, and the consensus median price target is $13. x.com 

Tesla's future tech may already be priced in, and its valuation relative to the rest of the Mag 7 is inane. Tesla has reportedly been losing EV market share as sales decline, and its chart showed a choppy grind to local highs with a good case for a correction to range lows. It is now down 40% from its highs; even below $200 it would trade at a premium to peers, and the buy zone is around $70, though one bullish argument suggests it holds around $130. x.com  x.com  x.com 

Tesla's 200x earnings multiple asks too much of weak current results and speculative future products. Third-quarter revenue fell 0.4% year over year and EBIT missed estimates by 25%, despite gross-margin and cash-flow beats. Mobileye's heavily shorted stock could squeeze if it gets tagged as a humanoid play alongside Unitree's IPO. It paid $900M for MenteeBot, a humanoid with a production model due Q1 2027. Valuing the ADAS core at 12x plus $1.4B cash leaves roughly nothing for the robot in a $7.6B market cap; the market doesn't care after a Q3 guide-down, a $3.8B writedown and the founder-CEO's exit. If Unitree opens near $25B and humanoids rip this week, short covering could drive a 20-30% chase. x.com 

Tesla's stock already prices in much of its long-term AI and autonomous driving potential, while its core auto business still faces declining deliveries and margin pressure. Most analysts rate it a Moderate Buy, but that tension limits the upside. x.com 

Tesla's Cybercab can scale far faster than Waymo, which underpins its long-term potential. The Cybercab is efficient and cheap to build, and Tesla can scale it into the millions quickly with US-sourced parts, while Waymo is inefficient, expensive and very hard to scale. Riders are proud to be seen in a Cybercab rather than hiding behind tinted glass. Mobileye's AI talent, incredible mathematicians and professors in AI, makes it worth scooping up as a long-term holding at this price, the same thesis that worked for Palantir after it fell from $32 to $8. Steve Cohen bought 5% of the company, so it will have its day in the sun. @Stonefoxcapital notes Mobileye trades at $7 today. x.com
